Hector V. Valladolid Jr., 37, is a dedicated member of the EPCALM Foundation since April 2021. After a courageous battle with acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL), Hector’s oncologist confirmed in September 2022 that he is officially in remission.
While Hector continues to face physical challenges, including significant hearing loss, he remains remarkably positive. He has adapted through lip-reading and continues to be an active participant in his spiritual community, regularly attending Mass.
To help support his family’s expenses, Hector has also recently started a new venture selling street food near his home in Barangay Plainview, Mandaluyong.
Hector has expressed his deep gratitude to EPCALM for the unwavering support, resources, and encouragement provided throughout his recovery.
He shared that the Foundation has been a vital lifeline for him, serving as a constant reminder that he is never alone on his journey toward healing. We are honored to have been part of Hector’s journey, and look forward to his continued progress.
