Nerry Ann A. Aguilar was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) at the age of 18, shortly after moving to Makati to support her family. Despite the physical and emotional toll of intensive chemotherapy at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH), she demonstrated remarkable bravery, and reached the remission stage in January 2019.

For the past five years, Nerry Ann lived a productive life in her hometown in Oriental Mindoro, supporting her family through online selling and prioritizing her health through regular monitoring.

Unfortunately, recent blood tests have indicated a potential relapse. She has since returned to Manila to face this new challenge with the same courage and faith she displayed years ago.

Nerry Ann continues to cooperate fully with her medical team, remaining steadfast in her fighting spirit. She reminds us all that while we cannot control every circumstance, we can choose to meet every threat with a fearless spirit.

We are sharing this story to highlight her courage and the ongoing financial and emotional support required for her continued treatment.
