REGISTERED SOCIAL WORKER
General Job Description/ Scope
Conducts diagnostic activities with EPCALM-services patients for appropriate referrals to EPCALM Ministries and Network Partners.
Performs case work and family therapies.
Develops and recommends programs for recovery and healing, and fund-raising.
Provides regular counselling, referrals, and home/ hospital visits, as necessary.
Encourages EPCALM-serviced patients and their families to participate in Family Huddles, Family Bible Fellowship, and other regular activities.
Provides feedback to the Social Work Director regarding progress of case studies of assigned EPCALM-serviced patients.
Coordinates with hospitals, relevant government agencies, partner churches, and Ministry Advisers for appropriate support to EPCALM-serviced patients and their family members.
Minimum Qualifications
Current Social Work license.
If first baccalaureate degree is not in Social Work, a relevant post-graduate qualification is required. To be eligible for the post-graduate course, a strong undergraduate degree, preferably in a relevant field, such as psychology, sociology, social sciences or social care, is required.
One to two years of experience in Social Work, with a significant number of practical training hours rendered.
