RiteMED donates maintenance medicines for EPCALM patients

In a gesture of compassion and commitment to accessible healthcare, RiteMED Philippines Inc. donated maintenance medicines to the EPCALM Foundation for its serviced adult leukemia patients. The medicines were distributed during EPCALM Family Huddle on 27 June 2026 at The EPCALM House in New Manila, Quezon City.

The donation is intended to support leukemia patients who rely on maintenance medications for chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and other long-term illnesses. By providing these medicines at no cost, RiteMED helps ease the financial burden faced by patients who are already struggling with the high cost of leukemia treatment while also managing other ongoing health needs.

EPCALM Founder and Board Chair, Dr. Erlyn P. Cabanag-Demerre, expressed her appreciation for the donation, emphasizing that access to essential medicines is vital to preserving both health and dignity. She noted that partnerships like this provide meaningful support to patients and their families as they navigate the challenges of living with leukemia.
