At the same time, PCHTM and BCAP jointly launched “Alam Mo Blood,” a public awareness campaign, which seeks to provide accurate, accessible information on blood diseases. The advocacy project is aimed at empowering Filipinos with timely and relevant information to counter myths with facts, and encourage early detection, treatment and care.

The Alliance endeavors to use data, when appropriate, to help identify areas of emphasis for awareness, advocacy, and communication activities. The BCAP recognize that all activities are an integral part of the country’s cancer control program.
