The life of Cristy T. Frias, 52, somehow flipped over when she received her diagnosis of acute myelogenous leukemia (AML). Despite her fears, however, she found comfort and security in the love and care of her husband, Carlos, who took on the task of being her primary caregiver.
Carlos’ love reassures her that while this may be a dark period in her life, they are sure to weather the storm together.
He believes that Cristy is a strong-willed fighter, and looks forward to their many happy days together. Their marriage remains unshaken as they are each other’s anchor—proving that with love, they are conquerors.
