Christine S. Alfaro, 34, a devoted wife and mother of three, was diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) in 2015. Her family grappled with the difficulties and financial strain brought on by the disease. Against this backdrop, she remained a symbol of tenacity through the support of her fellow CML community members.
While battling leukemia, Christine encountered challenges concerning her mental health and emotional well-being. Nevertheless, with the unwavering support of her family and community of CML Warriors, she continues to bravely take on each day, while serving as an inspiration to her peers.
